Executive Director Mary Robinson says, “The most important thing a grieving child needs is the active presence of at least one, preferably more, caring, healthy, and functional adults in their lives who understands that when a child has a loss they need support.” This program will teach you how to be that presence in the life of a grieving child or youth.

Family Promise Trains Staff to Facilitate Loss and Grief Workshops

Working with Imagine, Family Promise developed Living with Loss, Healing from Homelessness, a curriculum to equip children, teen, and adult Family Promise guests, volunteers, Affiliate staff, and community members with the skills they need to process the loss associated with homelessness and to support those who are grieving.

National Alliance for Grieving Children (NAGC) Welcomes Mary Robinson to its Board of Trustees

Following a nation-wide request for nominations from child bereavement field professionals and an election by the membership of the organization, the National Alliance for Grieving Children (NAGC) announced that its membership and Board of Directors has elected Cristina M. Chipriano, Mary Robinson, and Brennan Wood as members of the Board of Directors for the National Alliance for Grieving Children.
