Imagine Receives Grant from Investors Foundation to Support Children and Families Coping with Loss

Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss recently received a $2,500 grant from Investors Foundation. The grant will help further Imagine’s mission of providing education and free peer grief support to children and teens coping with loss due to the death of a parent or sibling by helping to underwrite a sixth Night of Support at its center located in Mountainside, NJ.

“We’re extremely grateful for this grant and steadfast support by Investors Bank,” said Founder and Executive Director Mary Robinson. “Imagine is completely free to children and families for as long as they need us. Without this type of investment from the community we could not exist.”

Imagine is a free year-round peer grief support center located in Mountainside, New Jersey serving children age 3-18 who have had a parent or sibling die, with concurrent support groups for their parents or guardians. Support for children and teens living with a parent or sibling with a life-altering physical illness is also available. Free year-round support groups are also available for young adults who have had a friend, sibling, parent or other important person in their life die, or who have a parent, sibling or friend living with an illness.
