National Alliance for Grieving Children (NAGC) Welcomes Mary Robinson to its Board of Trustees

Following a nation-wide request for nominations from child bereavement field professionals and an election by the membership of the organization, the National Alliance for Grieving Children (NAGC) announced that its membership and Board of Directors has elected Cristina M. Chipriano, Mary Robinson, and Brennan Wood as members of the Board of Directors for the National Alliance for Grieving Children. Their term of service will begin January 2020. Also serving on the board is Will Reeve, son of Christopher and Dana Reeve.

Mary Robinson, MA, CT, is the Founder and Executive Director of Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss located in Mountainside, NJ. She has over 35 years of business, management, technical, and training expertise in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Leaving the corporate world in 1997 to volunteer and work full-time in the field of children’s grief support, Ms. Robinson is committed to creating communities where children coping with loss get the support they need to thrive, be resilient and grow up emotionally healthy. Working in the field grew out of Mary’s own personal experience of loss as a child. With the national exposure provided by being a Top Ten CNN Hero in 2019 and now her election to the NAGC board, her commitment is to work towards the day that no child grieves alone.
