Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss is working to create grief informed communities where those who are grieving will be surrounded by family, friends, neighbors, teachers, coaches and others who are able to provide support following a loss. We have several upcoming community workshops that will be offered for free to the public as part of this effort. Below you’ll find our upcoming workshop topics and links to register. We hope you’ll join us in our effort to create grief informed communities where no one grieves alone.
We can miss the person who died, AND still experience moments of joy. We can acknowledge the change that loss has brought about AND still be able to live our lives and recognize that we have skills and gifts to share.
On Thursday, April 11th, Imagine’s Grief Educator, Connie Palmer, LCSW will present a webinar on Living in the AND from 7-8:30 pm via Zoom. This workshop will encourage consideration of how to live fully again after a loss by learning how to live in the AND.
Those who attend will be able to:
1. Define what it means to “live in the AND”
2. Identify the connection between grief and learning how to live in the AND
3. Explain how grief is a “liminal space”
This webinar is free but registration is required. Contact Veronica Ortiz, LPC for more information veronica@imaginenj.org or 908-264-3100.
