Loss, Grief, and Resilience in the LGBTQ+ Community

This webinar is for anyone who wants to gain knowledge and awareness of the interconnectedness of grief, loss, and LGBTQ+ identities. Presented in English by Imagine’s Clinical Program Supervisor, Abigail Priece, LPC, and Grief Educator, Connie Palmer, LCSW and presented in Spanish by Imagine’s Training and Education Director, Veronica C. Ortiz, LPC, and Bilingual Program Manager, Sonia Nunez.

Those who attend will learn to:

  • Identify the different types of grief and loss that pertain to the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Explore the intersectionality of grief and identity.
  • Identify protective factors and action steps you can take to uplift the LGBTQ+ people in your life.

 

1.5 CE credits will be offered for this session. This synchronous, interactive webinar is designed at a beginning level for social workers at all levels of experience and licensure (LCSW, LSW, BSW) to gain a working knowledge and awareness of the interconnectedness of grief, loss, and LGBTQ+ identities.
