Imagine is proud to be an official charity partner of New York Road Runners, for the TCS New York City Marathon this year! The course runs through all five of New York City’s boroughs: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan’s iconic Central Park. It is a 26.2-mile block party through the world’s most diverse city, and a model for big-city marathons around the world. Through this partnership, we are able to provide you the opportunity to make your miles meaningful and support Imagine’s free peer grief support programs and raise awareness and funds that benefits thousands of children and families in New Jersey.

AS A TEAM IMAGINE ATHLETE YOU RECEIVE:

  • Coveted slot in the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon
  • Ongoing fundraising assistance and tips from Imagine staff, along with a personalized fundraising page
  • Easy to follow training plan provided by Fleet Feet North Jersey
  • Official Team Imagine running shirt
  • Free 5K registration for our annual Greta’s Run for Imagine in Westfield, NJ on Sunday, May 19, 2024


AS A TEAM IMAGINE ATHLETE YOU WILL:

  • Be able to run in memory of a loved one who has died and made an impact on your life
  • Commit to raise $3,500 by race day, November 3, 2024. All runners will be required to sign a fundraising agreement that acknowledges the fundraising requirement and deadline. The $315 ($255 for NYRR members) registration fee will be put towards your fundraising commitment
  • Notify friends and family of your participation in the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon through email, social media, and conversations
  • Allow Imagine to share your photo and story on social media, including why you are running
  • Have the competitive experience of a lifetime
